Copyright and takedown

1. What this page is for

ProductBox collects product information — names, specifications and images — from publicly available sources so that shops can describe the products they sell. Product images remain the property of their respective rightsholders. We do not claim any rights in them, and we grant our customers no licence in them.

If you hold rights in material we are showing and you want it removed, tell us and we will remove it. You do not need a lawyer, a form, or a fee.

2. How to ask us to remove something

Email copyright@productbox.net. To let us act quickly, please include:

  • the address of the material you want removed, or the page where you found it — if you are asking about many images, the website or brand they came from is enough;
  • enough about the rights you hold for us to understand the request — the site the images were published on, or the brand they belong to, is usually plenty;
  • a contact address we can reply to.

You do not have to prove ownership to a legal standard before we act. If a request looks genuine, we remove first and ask questions afterwards.

3. What we do

  • We acknowledge your email.
  • We remove the material from our shared product database and from customer libraries, and delete the stored copy.
  • We tell you when it is done.

We aim to complete this within 5 working days of a clear request, and usually sooner. We are a small company and we would rather commit to a timeframe we hit than to one that sounds impressive.

Material already delivered to a customer before removal may still exist in that customer's own systems. Our terms make customers responsible for confirming they are entitled to use an image before publishing it, and we will tell you what we removed on our side.

4. Blocking a whole site or brand

If you would prefer we did not collect from your website at all, say so and we will exclude the whole domain — you do not need to list individual images, and you do not need a reason.

5. If you think we got it wrong

If we removed something you believe we were entitled to show, or you disagree with a decision, write to copyright@productbox.net and a person will read it. We would rather resolve this by email than any other way.

6. Who we are

Product Enrichment LTD (ProductBox), registered in England and Wales, company number 17369400. 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
